Welcome! Thanks for stopping by my website.
Reaching out for support can be difficult. Whether this is your first time seeking out a therapist or you’re a returning client, stepping into a therapy office can feel stressful. Cultivating an atmosphere of comfortability, authenticity and safety are skills that I bring to the therapeutic process.
Since 2008 I’ve provided therapy to adults and youth struggling with a wide array of issues such as: adjustment to life transitions; anxiety; depression; trauma and PTSD; parenting stressors; perinatal and post partum anxiety and depression; work place stress; grief and loss; relationship stressors and issues of separation and divorce. I utilize evidence based treatment approaches to assist you to develop skills for achieving your goals and obtaining lasting change in areas of life that are meaningful to you.
I obtained my Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto in 2008 with a specialization in mental health. Since then I’ve participated in a vast array of professional trainings to cultivate my clinical skills. The following are a list of treatment approaches where I’ve obtained enhanced training: Cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, narrative therapy; family systems theory; solution focused therapy and mindfulness based stress reduction techniques.
